The Code of Conduct for Green Future Afghanistan, a virtual NGO, serves as a guiding principle for its operations and interactions. As an organization independent of political entities, universities, institutions, national and international NGOs, as well as political parties, Green Future Afghanistan is committed to upholding neutrality and non-partisanship in its endeavors. It steadfastly disavows any intention to promote a specific political agenda or engage in activities that oppose any government or group. The primary objective of Green Future Afghanistan is the promotion of awareness and the protection of the environment and ecosystems within Afghanistan. To achieve this, the organization conducts various educational initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and conferences. These events are meticulously designed to foster academic deliberation, generate knowledge, and enhance public awareness regarding environmental issues and conservation efforts. By adhering to this Code of Conduct, Green Future Afghanistan reaffirms its dedication to its noble mission while maintaining integrity, impartiality, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Respect
  • Treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and courtesy, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions.
  • Avoid discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior, including but not limited to discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
Professionalism
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, both within and outside the Organisation's premises.

Sexual Harassment Policy

The Organisation of Green Future Afghanistan maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment. Sexual harassment, includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature in the workplace or learning environment. Sexual harassment can also encompass negative comments about individuals based on their gender.

Sexual harassment can occur in various forms and can be perpetrated by individuals of any gender, including supervisors, coworkers, teachers, peers, or colleagues. Some examples of sexual harassment include:

  • Making employment or advancement contingent upon sexual favors.
  • Physical acts of sexual assault.
  • Requests for sexual favors.
  • Verbal harassment of a sexual nature, including jokes or comments about sexual acts or orientation.
  • Unwanted touching or physical contact.
  • Unwanted calls, chats, emails and comments on digital space
  • Unwelcome sexual advances
  • Discussing sexual relations, stories, or fantasies in inappropriate settings
  • Feeling pressured to engage in sexual activities.
  • Exposing oneself or performing sexual acts.
  • Sending unwanted sexually explicit materials, such as photos, emails, or text messages. The Organisation is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all individuals. Any instances of sexual harassment will be promptly and thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken, up to and including termination of employment or association with the Organisation.
